Just buy a new sound card and analog/ digital headphones, don't waste your time on USB Microphones or Headphones, I mean they sound nice but at least the analogs are cheaper, better quailty, and will last you forever. Nice bass, there might be better headphones out there with bass but these are more than i've had. Pros: Super comfortable, Seems very Durable, Easy control at your fingure tips, ' 7.1 Surround Sound ' No sound card nessisary, No Drivers. I just plugged them in and downloaded the latest firmware from Razer and updated the built in sound card and then it was good to go. As the Razer guy said, there are no drivers for these so people claiming driver problems are full of it. Overall Review: I have been using them on Windows 7 圆4 Ult with no problems that others are claiming. They are noticeably better then $100 headsets. It is all on the controller.Ĭons: The price is high but these are only $20 more than the Steel Series I bought a year ago that broke and these are night and day better than those were. There is no control panel to fumble through. Everything is on the controller so it can be done while in game. You can also adjust every single speaker as well as switching between stereo and 7.1. The controller is awesome and lets you adjust mic vol and sensitivity right on it. The surround sound works very well in BFBC2 and WOW. The packaging is exquisite which you would expect for the price premium you are paying. Every friend who has listened to it has been thoroughly amazed as well. There may be better headphones but there aren't better headsets. This is by far the best sounding headset I have ever heard. I also waited a couple of weeks of solid use to make my review. Pros: The past reviews made me VERY hesitant to buy these.
